Kütchenhaus offers a variety of kitchen designs, all available in different colors and materials. Inspiring customers with beautiful lifestyle images is essential to Kütchenhaus, but traditional photography would make it overwhelming and costly to showcase all the options.
Kütchenhaus chose seven digital locations from our Location Library to showcase seven different kitchen models in inspiring settings. Each lifestyle scene features several camera angles, allowing the viewer to see the entire kitchen as well as the details. Kütchenhaus showcases 38 different color variants across the scenes, making it easy for customers to find inspiration for their next kitchen.

Kütchenhaus is part of nobilia, Europe's largest kitchen manufacturer. The UK-based company has over 70 years of industry experience and showrooms in the UK, Portugal, the USA, Australia, and the Czech Republic. They aim to provide customers with value, inspiring designs, and German-grade quality.
"They knew exactly what we wanted."
"The stylists did incredible work and fulfilled whatever we asked for, and they were so quick about it. They knew exactly what we needed, and they did a perfect job every time. This includes the whole team, really. Hand on heart, I would recommend Cadesign to everyone. We're so pleased with the final results, and we couldn't have asked for more. It was just perfect."
Lifestyle photography for full kitchens is a hassle
A kitchen is not just a functional space; it's the heart of the home, where families gather, meals are prepared, and memories are made. A thoughtfully designed kitchen can enhance a home's overall aesthetic, reflecting a personal style while combining practicality and beauty. Therefore, getting a new kitchen is not just a question of making a significant investment. It's also about choosing the right design and aesthetic.
To inspire customers, Kütchenhaus needs to showcase as many variants of its kitchens as possible, a task that is close to impossible with traditional photography.
"There are many reasons why we began working with CGI instead of photography. Mainly, it's a question of cost, timeliness, and what's possible to do. We'd have to find an inspiring location, install a kitchen, ensure perfect lighting and styling, and get a photographer to take images from all angles. Then we'd have to change fronts and tabletops to show the different possibilities and take even more images. It would be such a massive thing to do," says Claire Singleton, Assistant Project Manager on the digital team.
Kütchenhaus wasn't new to the world of CGI when we started our collaboration. However, we managed to take their experience to the next level with our Location Library, which gave the kitchen company more than 35 inspiring digital locations from which to choose.
Kütchenhaus inspires with all material options
Location Library makes it easy to inspire
Kütchenhaus recognizes that customers shopping for a new kitchen are drawn to various styles and expressions. To reflect this diversity, they aimed to showcase their kitchen series in different settings. In Location Library, they identified seven locations that aligned with their detailed vision, and we set to work to bring this vision to life.
"We knew what we wanted from the beginning, so we sent an initial presentation of all the kitchens and the styles we preferred, including mood boards. We also specified the colors and props we wanted, giving them a precise brief. But Cadesign wasn't just following directions mindlessly," says Claire Singleton, and continues:
"One example that stands out is a lamp that hung from the ceiling, which wasn't quite right. We asked the stylist's opinion and whether they would change the light or the design. Ultimately, they replaced the original light with something else, which made a huge difference. So, they were right on it whenever we needed recommendations and instinctively knew what would look best. Which leads me to another upside of CGI. You can effortlessly communicate whatever you want, make it whatever you want, and I think that's fantastic."
Marketing now has plenty of visuals to use across channels
"We use them everywhere it's possible"
We built an on-brand kitchen in each of the seven locations to inspire Kütchenhaus's different personas. To make it easy for customers to envision themselves in the various kitchens, we used six camera angles to show the kitchen from different angles and zoom in on the details and materials. Then, we changed the fronts, countertops, and backsplashes, showcasing the 38 material options for creating the perfect kitchen environment.
The result is nearly 300 kitchen visuals to inspire customers everywhere, from websites and social media to in-store displays. And that's a big help for the small team at Kütchenhaus, which consists of only three people. They are busy promoting the company across channels, and the numerous visuals make their jobs easier.
"We primarily use the visuals on our website. We also share all the images with our showrooms, so they can use them on social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and similar sites. We use them everywhere possible, and it's nice that we don't have to repeat the same images everywhere, as we have so many to choose from. It's all about the customer-facing side of things, and the variety makes the experience much more enjoyable for them," says Claire Singleton, and continues:
"Another example is our lookbook, which is available both digitally and in physical form in stores. It's filled with images that Cadesign has created, and it works as great inspiration for our customers. We have so many people coming into the stores to get a hard copy of the book, which is amazing and really helps us strengthen our brand and remain top of mind."
